Golden Agreements Engagement
Golden Agreements guides families through the conversations that matter most as a loved one ages, with care and understanding. Using a structured framework for sensitive topics like healthcare, living arrangements, finances, and independence, we help families replace uncertainty with clear expectations and shared peace of mind.
Hard conversations, made easier
Conversations like these can be hard. A trained facilitator takes the emotional weight off each topic and keeps everyone focused on building a plan together. Because no one in the family has to be the one who brings it up, the conversation stays productive, respectful, and sometimes even light.
The process can begin with the individual or with their family. Either way, everyone leaves with a shared roadmap.
Your Golden Agreements package includes:
-
A private conversation to learn your wishes, priorities, and values, in your own words
-
A facilitated two-hour family meeting where everyone hears those wishes directly and talks them through together
-
Complete documentation, including video, a transcript, and a written summary, so nothing is lost or misremembered later
-
Your family's Golden Agreements, written down to revisit together each year
-
Personalized letters you can choose to send to your attorney, physician, and financial advisor, so your whole professional team is on the same page
We anticipate about 4 hours of meetings, plus document preparation after each one.
The result is something most families never have: the confidence of knowing exactly what you want, in your own voice, before anyone has to guess.
Clarity before crisis.

Golden Key: 90 minute review
A guided 90-minute look at what's in place and what's next for you family. This can be done with the person we are planning for or a love one who is concerned and would like to talk it through.
Unlock what you've already planned, and make a plan for what's to come.
In one 90-minute virtual session, we talk through what matters most: independence, caregiving, finances, health, and communication. We don't start with medical directives. We start with what a good day looks like, now and later, and build from there.
You'll leave with a clear, prioritized checklist written for your family. No pressure and no legal jargon, just a calm, guided first step.
Many families use the Golden Key as the start of the full Golden Agreements experience. Others take their checklist and keep going on their own.

Complimentary Family Readiness Call
Most families who call us say the same thing. They know they should be talking about the future, but they don't know where to start or who should bring it up. The conversation between parents and children can be colored by belief patterns that some topics are off limits... even when the other person really needs the information.
The Readiness Call is a relaxed, fifteen minute phone or video conversation. You tell us a little about your family and what prompted you to reach out.
We answer your questions about the process. Together we decide whether the Golden Key or the Full Golden Agreements Experience, or our free resources are the right fit.
There is nothing to prepare and nothing to buy. Just a first step toward the conversation that makes everything after it easier.
